Hot vs Cold - Paintings and Poetry

 

Solo exhibition by Louise van Alenburg

20 February – 19 March 2011

Dutch born visual artist studied art at the “Vrije Academie” (Netherlands). Her artworks are included in corporate and private collections internationally.She believes art is pure emotion and writes poetry that accompanies her art. 

 
August - Andy M solo

Andrea (Andy M) is a young professional artist with a Fine Arts Degree from Toronto Ontario who has lived in Fort McMurray since 2009. She participated in solo and group art shows in Ontario. The colors and shapes found in nature have always fascinated her and are the inspiration for most of the pieces she creates.

 
March - April Margie Cunningham solo

24 March - 21 April 2011

 

Margie Cunningham’ passion for the arts led her to working as an artist. She attended the School of Craft and Design. Margie’s work is greatly influenced by nature and can be found in the several locations in town, for example, at the Radisson Hotel. She organises art exhibits for local artists and youth, and was nominated for the annual cultural award hosted by the RMWB.  A Stained Glass window in the Salvation Army church is Margie’s creation.
